​This is a reproduction gunning lamp made by myself. Market hunters on the Chesapeake Bay would have a lamp like this, mounted above a punt gun or battery gun. The hunter would paddle out to where the birds would raft up for the night, the light would hide the movement of the hunter and boat till he got within range. The lamp measures approx 16" high 11.25 wide and 14.5 deep
