Shore birds are  great carvings to look at  because it brings back the past how hunters use them to be able to shoot shore birds to have food for the table, but it is no longer allowed.

 Cedar Shore Bird
Shore bird carved out of cedar and fixed with a plexiglass rod. Carving is 11 inches long -3 inches wide - 14 1/2 inches high with stand.Color of the wood and the shine it has makes this a wonderful carving.

Greater Lesser Yellowlegs shore bird with open wings - Real nice carving of a shore bird carved on a cypress root. Carving measures 16 1/2 inches wide - 12 1/2 inches long - 15 inches high on stand.Not many shorebirds are carved with open wings.
