Everybody says that they can not find tupelo wood for their carvings, not any more.
Now you can get the amount you want and believe me you will not be disappointed with this wood.
I am asking $.03/cubic inch - block 7"X10"X10" would be 700 cubic inches or $21.00 (plus shipping). I can send small free sample through regular mail. All blocks are cut from below the water line. In fact, the trees are in standing water for such extended periods that they have developed a root collar at the water line. Blocks are sawn from below the bell and below the root collar. Heartwood is trimmed out leaving only sapwood. Wood is light, white, soft, flexible and easy to carve. I own several thousand of these trees in Louisiana that I can selectively cut.
