Cajun Santa Claus is fixed in a pirogue on a plaque pulled by five mallard ducks. Plaque measures 23 1/2 inches long - 6 inches wide. Santa is 5 1/4 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide. Pirogues verage about 12 inches long by 3 inches wide. Pirogue is full of presents all wrapped up ready for delivery on Chrismas morning - Santa also has bag o gifts on his back but ( DO NOT OPEN UNTIL CHRISTMAS ).Has 5 mallards pulling pirogue because in Louisiana there are places even a deer would have trouble passing and also it gives Rudolph and the other deers a chance to have a little break. Santa is holding the reins to guide the ducks. Ducks have bridles in their mouths - excuse me , their bill. This is Cajun carving at it's very best - you will not find anything like this on the internet.
